The Battle of Puebla took place on May 5 1862, near Puebla City during the Second French Intervention in Mexico. The battle ended in a victory for the Mexican Army over the French Army.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tequila is king during this celebration, and with spring in full swing, the best Cinco de Mayo drinks are fun and breezy. Margaritas, Palomas<\/strong> and other refreshing cocktails will get you going throughout the entire day and will elevate the victory at the Battle of Puebla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Another Battle is Underway which Needs Your Support<\/p>\n\n\n\n Although this is important to recognize, the battle we are waging against the Corona Virus of COVID-19 is ongoing. Your communities need your support more than ever to help provide health and safety gear for front line workers in hopsitals, Long Term Care and assisted living facilities as well as the many outreach and community organizations who are working with the most vulnerable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Take a moment to think about how you can make a difference. One way is to find organizations who may need your time as a volunteer. The other way is to give financial support to these organizations.
